This incredible historical find was made by Martin for the Ditson Company (who would later commission the first dreadnought guitar) somewhere between 1917 and 1919. This guitar appears to have had the back and sides refinished and has had a lot of bumps and bruises along the way including a pretty sizable repaired back crack. This guitar is an amazing piece of Martin history and a real playable survivor! From the collection of Bryan Sutton,
