Here’s an interesting one! Converted by David LaPlante from nylon string to steel, and featuring Brazilian b/s, a nicely quartersawn sitka top from the 1960s, 60s 00-21-style X bracing, a small maple bridgeplate, a 1 ⅞” replacement neck made by Martin in the 1970s, and Rickard banjo-style tuners - this is truly one of a kind. The finish work is very clean and consistent throughout, resulting in a cohesive look and feel. As far as nylon-to-steel conversions go this is about as good a job as can be done!
