This SG - affectionately named Turd #1 by its former owner - is a fantastic example of the kind of work Gibson was doing in the early 70s. Gibson switched from the “SG Special” to the “Pro” designation briefly in ‘71 - ‘72, meaning this is essentially a Special with a smaller elevated pickguard, a Bigsby tremolo, a front-routed control panel, and an adjustable bridge. The guitar is in exceptional condition, and plays and sounds amazing. Comes with a certificate of authenticity!
